I am blessed to have been able to have had a friend in Tom. His witty ways, silly pranks, and constant jokes were always a bright spot in my day. He had a heart of gold and will shine like the brightest star above. Our world has lost a gem. I will miss you Tom.

What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others. (Pericles)
I will miss having Tom Pike in my life every day not only was he my coworker, he was a true and loyal friend. He loved his family and his country. He had a way of making every day special from his practical jokes to his ability to fix the unfixable assisting anyone when asked sharing the bounty of his kitchen just being there! He will be missed for many reasons, but mostly just because he was Pike- the one you could always count on.

Tom was Gladeview's hero - making things work, helping whenever asked, providing a joke, giving a history lesson, sharing a home made meal; his camaraderie and work ethic were inspiring. I will always remember what a wonderful man he was.

I have known and worked with Tom for nearly 25 years, and will truly miss his sense of humor and quick wit, and equally his tender heart. Tom made a difference in the lives of those that were lucky enough to know him. I have so many memories of his practical jokes, and practical advice....I am a better person for having known this wonderful man. To the Pike family...please know that Tom spoke of his love and pride in you. Meagan, you were so special and important to him. He was so proud of you. I know there are no words to make this hurt any less, but please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of many-

So sad to hear of the passing of your family member. I worked with Tom for over ten years while I worked at Gladeview. We became very good friends. I have thought of Tom often over the years, and have missed him very much. I will cry a hundred tears for EVERY smile he gave me. Rest in Peace my friend. Donna Snelgrove

i worked with Tom at Gladeview for 16 yrs. he was a great man. i loved going into the maintenance room to hear his stories, jokes and to taste test what he brought in that day for lunch, he was a great cook. i have so many memories from working with him. he loved his family and was crazy about his grandaughter, so sweet. he loved his "hotrods" and the "pop together planes" which i called them i always gave him a hard time about flying to be careful he wanted me to go up but i wouldnt i was afraid. i could go on n on talking about him. im deeply saddened by his death may he rest in peace my thought and prayers go out to his family may God hold you and comfort you at this difficult time.
