My memories of Dot go way back to 1966 when my husband, Tom, and I moved to Old Lyme and joined O.L.C.C. We quickly became friends with Dot and Tom, and enjoyed a long and merry social life with them. In 1969, Dot invited me to be a "provisional member" of the newly formed Old Lyme/Lyme Auxiliary of Child & Family Agency. I guess they liked me, as I went on to become the Chair of the Auxiliary, and eventually President of the Agency's Board of Directors. I am still active today, and am very grateful to Dot for connecting me with such a magnificent organization, and for all the enjoyable hours working alongside her on so many of our projects. I remember fun parties at the house on Honey Hill Lane. I remember devastating times, as well. The picture in this obituary is of the Dot I remember, always cheerful and fun to be with. So many good times....
Sadly missed, as they say. My deepest sympathy to all her loved ones.
