Obituary of Joseph Phillippe Collin

Joseph Phillippe Collin, 66, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, November 28th after a brief illness. He was born in Hartford, the son of Lucien and Anita (Bouchard) Collin. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Ryon) Collin, his two sons, Robert Collin and his wife Sarah of New Britain, Jeffrey Collin and his wife Florine of Bristol, his sister, Lucille Collin of Cromwell, and his favorite cat Gabby. Joe worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft and retired in 2010 after 44 years of service. He enjoyed history, was a very handy man, and loved being with his family. A private graveside service will be held in the Higganum-Burr Cemetery in Haddam. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of the donor's choice.
