The world has lost a beautiful person. She had such a richness to her life and added so much happiness and joy to those who knew her. When I first met her, I was almost intimidated by her perfectionism but the more I knew her the more I learned that she was kind, gentle, witty, intelligent, loving and could cook like nobody's business. She was my role model and I loved her dearly. She loved all of her children and loved to tell stories about them when they were young. I still use many of her anecdotes. Matt, John, Suzanne, Gretchen and Julie, Losing your mother is always so hard because she loved you unconditionally. Stanley, Phil and Chris, I know you will agree that she was the best mother-in-law in the world. All of the grandchildren and great grandchildren, take solace in the face that she was part of your life and part of her has passed onto you. She is with Matt now, probably in South Heaven looking out at the ocean. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your family.
