"Mrs. Lindquist",
I send you my deepest symthpathy on the loss of your beloved husband.I never met him but he sounded like a wonderful man. You taught both of my daughters at Bow Elementary School (Jessica and Rachael Sheinbaum). We still have the Christmas ornaments that they made in your classroom, and we think of you then. May the memories of happy times with Alan bring you comfort. He will always be with you in your heart.

Evelyn and family,
I was very saddened to hear of your loss. I have so many fond memories of Alan, aka: Mr. Lindquist, as he truly was an inspiration to me growing up.
I'll always remember my first trip to Old Saybrook, and how it was just the two of us on the ride back to NH. Alan was able to keep the conversation interesting for that 3 hour drive as we discussed so many different things. Not an easy task to keep a teenager engaged in conversation for three hours, however, Alan found a way.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.

Evelyn and family... so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I enjoyed his company whenever the families got together. He was truely a good man and I never heard a discouraging word from him. He caught me stealing tomatoes at the annual July 4th picnic..he said 'we count those tomatoes but I don't know if we counted those or not...I told him it was 3...sorry Alan it was 8...the family has lost a good man...may you rest in peace, Alan.

I have happily been a personal friend of the Lindquists for over thirty. So many fond, fun memories of the July 4th get togethers, sitting and chatting over beers outside, Alan Srs' witty, well-timed humor and his genuineness he always expressed to others. I will cherish many memories and keep recollecting memories of times I spent with Alan Sr and family. I feel a strong sense of loss right now.
