I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. My condolences to the whole Gregory family. I have super fond memories growing up of our group of neighborhood kids on Jericho that Steve was an integral part of. I'm glad I got to reconnect with him a few years ago at a school function that I happened to go to when I was in town. It was nice to catch up and meet his kids. Again, I extend my sympathies to you all.

Slater and Sawyer,
I am so sorry for your loss. I Know that he was so proud of both of you.
One of my fondest memories of your father was when I was coaching the 9/10's in little league and he was coaching the 12's, he witnessed a practice we were having and he came up to all the kids and told them how good they were. The kids were so excited and the incident generated momentum. What struck me about that incident was that he took the time out of his schedule to make a difference. The kids ended up winning the district that year. Slater, many of those same kids from that team; you played baseball with in high school. To those that knew your father, he will be greatly missed.
There are no words that can help you with your loss, but I will be praying for you and your family.

Sawyer and Slater,
Words can not express the sadness we feel for you during this difficult time. All we can remind you of is that your dad loved you both so much. It was evident in the pride he displayed at your basketball and baseball games. It's hard to explain why such sad things happen to wonderful people. We have no answers for you there. Just trust in the love your dad had for you both. You made him proud and will continue to make him proud wherever he has passed on to. Always know that we will always be here for you both. I did not have the relationship that you had with your dad. I was fortunate to find someone that filled that void for me. If anything, I promise to always be here for your both. To help you fill the void your dad will leave in your hearts. Take solace knowing that you have lots of people who love you- Kristen and I included. -Randy

My deepest, deepest condolences to the Gregory family. Sawyer and Slater, your dad loved you both so very much, he spoke with great pride, joy and love for each of you. It was such a priviledge to hear the pride in his voice at what you two were doing with your education, your musical talents, and your athletic achievements.
Shelley, your relationship changed over the years, but there was not doubt you were the love of his life. He cherished and loved you so deeply.
Mr. & Mrs. Gregory, your son always spoke with such love and respect for you. Words cannot describe the depth of emotion
he had for the both of you.
William - Steve had so many fond memories and stories of you two growing up and was so proud of you and your family. He loved being an uncle.
I will always cherish and remember my friendship of my childhood friend. He was a man who love his family, his community and his friends with so much passion. He will be missed by so many.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Sawyer and Slater, I am so sorry about your dad, He was so proud of both of you. At Slater's basketball games last year, he'd always have something to brag about when he talked about you.
Thinking of Steve brings back all those years of Little League, Those were fun times and Steve was a great coach, the kind of coach you wanted for your kid.
Shelley, even though things had changed, you've lost the man you fell in love with at age 15, and the father of your wonderful sons. I'm thinking of you and wishing you all solace at this difficult time. Maggie Ward
