Obituary of Steven Francis Gregory

Steven Francis Gregory, 52, of Lyme died on Saturday, September 14, 2013 after a brief illness. He was born in Middletown on November 15, 1960 to William Andrew Gregory, Sr. and Rita Marie (Trotochaud) Gregory. Steve was a Master Carpenter and a graduate of Wentworth College in Boston. He worked at Lord Creek Farm in Lyme for 33 years. He was a member of the Lyme Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years and achieved Fire Fighter II. Steve enjoyed playing the guitar, first with his Dad and then with his sons and their friends. He also coached Farm Team and Little League Baseball. In addition to his parents Steve is survived by his sons, Steven Sawyer Gregory and Slater Broderick Gregory, his brother, William Andrew Gregory, Jr., sister-in-law, Jan Craig Gregory, his niece, Rachel Leigh Gregory, his friend, Melanie DeWolf and his dog, Sadie. Steve was a great father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00PM at the Eight Mile River Cemetery, Mt. Archer Road in Lyme. A reception will follow at the Lyme Fire Department, Route 156 in Lyme.
