I met Allen through my husband Pete. They were "buddies" I guess you could say. Allen was a really good friend. He didn't put on airs, he was genuine, when you talked to him he was what some would call "the real deal". We used to see him weekly at Ship to Shore when it was open on the weekends, and he loved to dance. He would grab Pam and off they would go to the small cramped dance floor. I am very sorry to read of his passing, he was a good person and he will be missed by many.
