Such a wonderful man. I am extremely sadden to hear this. Ive waited on mr and mrs maas for many years. They were always so amazingly kind and wonderful. I am sorry to learn of your passing so late. Thank you mr maas for the many many years of having the pleasure of knowing you. Rest in peace.
I am so very sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He and Doris where such wonderful neighbors growing up. Kind and compassionate are the words that come to mind. My heart , thoughts and prayers are with them and their extended family.
The Chester High School Alumni Assoc. sends deepest condolences. Phil was one of the two members of his C.H.S. Class of 1947 who attended our yearly reunion on Sept. 22, 2012, in honor of their 75-year graduation anniversary: quite a feat! We were delighted and honored -- and shared many memories of his long years in Chester. He will be remember by many.
God broke the mold after HE created Uncle Phil. The wonderful memories will fill the void after his passing. I will miss him and love him forever.
