I'm so sorry to see that Mrs. Regan passed away this year. The Regans were our next-door neighbors in Westport in the '60s. I remember our families being very close. One memory, in particular, stands out. My mom and dad dropped off my older sister Julie and me at the Regan's house on the way to the hospital. Mom was ready to deliver. Mrs. Regan and I had a bet- she thought Boy and I thought Girl. It was a very exciting time, everyone talking about the baby. Much later, after dark, my dad came up the walkway exclaiming, "It's a girl! It's a girl!" So, I was right! Seems like yesterday.
My heartfelt condolences go to Mr. Regan, Lisa, Amy, and all the family. I was very young when I knew you, but I'll never forget you all and I'll always remember how kind and loving Mrs. Regan was.
Lots of love, Jenny Bass
